She then attended Hunter College in the Bronx (now Lehman College of the City University of New York) and earned a degree in elementary education.
She taught for several years at an elementary school in the South Bronx as a science specialist.
She was born in Elmira, NY on April 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Ray N. (Hurd) Margeson, and graduated from Horseheads High School.
Ann retired as a staff accountant from Ciaschi, Dietershagen, Little, Mickelson in Ithaca.
They were married on April 25, 1987 and lived in the Bronx, NY.
